Service Description

Thank you for considering Puptown Northwest to train your beloved dog! We promise to train using the utmost care and focus, using modern and ethical techniques that will lead to lasting positive changes in your dog's behavior. After you schedule your appointment, our system will set the dog trainer up with all of the information they'll need before meeting with you and your pup. You will be asked to provide details such as your name, address, and notes about what behavior skills you would like to work on. Our trainer will then meet you at your home to provide hands-on training. Please be prepared with a collar or harness, a leash, and plenty of small dog treats. We can also join you for a neighborhood walk or meet at a dog park - please provide us with any specific directions or information we might need to get us started on the right foot. Every dog learns differently, and our one-on-one lessons are customized to meet the needs of your pet and enable you reinforce good dog habits. After every session we will send a follow-up email to remind you about what we covered, as well as provide you with instructions for additional practice. While your dog will learn a lot during class, the best improvement comes from ongoing practice. The most effective training takes consistency and repetition. We recommend purchasing one of our class packages and scheduling one class per week over the course of multiple weeks. We offer discounts based on the number of classes you book at once; training package options will be available at checkout.
